Description

The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, and incidentals necessary to re-pave the surface asphalt course for the US Army Corps of Engineering Field Office access road, approaches, drives, parking areas, and north storage compound at Cave Run Lake, 150 KY-826, Morehead, Kentucky 40351. Prices should include mobilization & de-mobilization, fuel, labor, material, and equipment.



The contractor’s work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions incorporated herein. Work will begin within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will conclude 45 calendar days after the NTP.



The work under this request for quote is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS Code 237310 (Size Standard, $45 Million).



One award will be made from this solicitation. The contract award will be based on Low Price. Method of payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the Contractor. Quotes will not be accepted for quantities less than the quantities specified in the price breakout schedule. Failure to submit a unit price for all items listed will be considered as a material deviation from the requirements and the Quote will be rejected.



Note: A site visit is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for the contractor to review the complexities of the work site, verify existing conditions, and exact measurements. A single site visit will be held on 1 May 2024 at 10:00 am ET at Cave Run Lake, 150 KY-826, Morehead, Kentucky 40351. If the initial site visit is missed the Contractor may request, with no guarantee, a site visit with the TPOC, Darren Roberts (502) 315-7007 and/or Project Manager Anthony W. Orr, (606) 784-9709.



Submit Quotes to Alyson Klinglesmith. Quotes are due on 14 May 2024 at 10:00 am ET. Fax submittals will not be accepted. Electronic submittals will be accepted and may be emailed to alyson.m.klinglesmith@usace.army.mil.

All proposed contractors are highly encouraged to review FAR Clause 52.232-33 Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer – System for Award Management, which indicates “All payments by the Government under this contract shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT).” Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http://www.SAM.gov. The process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after submission. Contractors will need to obtain a Unique Entity Identifier (formerly DUNS number) for processing their registration.
