Description: The City of Yonkers/Yonkers Public Schools (YPS) is requesting proposals from qualified Energy Services Companies to perform energy conservation measures and facility upgrades on a School District-wide basis. The Yonkers Public Schools (the “District”) is requesting proposals to be submitted via electronic delivery method through the Empire State Purchasing Group System – BidNet ( http://www.empirestatebidsystem.com/ ). Refer to solicitation RFP-484 File capacity may not exceed 500mb. For any issues requiring technical support vendors shall contact BidNet at 1-800-835-4630. The City of Yonkers (“the City”) and the Yonkers Public Schools (“the CITY/YPS”) will not be responsible for submission delays or other unforeseen circumstances related to Proposer’s submitting its proposal electronically. Proposers shall prepare (4) files for submission: RFP-484 One marked Technical Proposal, one marked Cost Proposal, one marked Schedules, and one marked Vendor Background Questionnaire, all with your legal company name. Return all required Schedules with your submission. Electronic signatures and/or scanned signatures from Proposers’ authorized representatives will be acceptable. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled for the review of the RFP process and to provide further clarity on the scope of work and requirements. The meeting will be held virtually on THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2024 FROM 1:30PM – 2:30PM. For those ESCOs interested attending and would like to receive a courtesy meeting invite should contact Miguel A. Martinez via email at Miguel.Martinez@YonkersNY.gov with a copy to Justin Benoit at jbenoit@energiasaves.com and Jackie Mushorn at jmushorn@energiasaves.com , to advise that you will be in attendance prior to the pre-proposal conference. As this is a publicly noticed meeting, you do not need to RSVP to attend. All prospective proposers are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting.

Martinez via email at Miguel.Martinez@YonkersNY.gov and Tom Collich at thomas.collich@yonkersny.gov Upon requests and after scheduling, respondents shall be given access to walk through the school facilities for the purpose of gathering information and conducting a preliminary assessment of the energy efficiency opportunities available at the schools, including a list of the energy efficient measures to be implemented with the estimated implementation cost and the energy cost savings. This information shall be included in the submitted Proposal. A site survey of each school can be scheduled during certain dates that can be found below in section 1All proposers must contact Lee Pavone at LPAVONE@YonkersPublicSchools.org with a copy to Justin Benoit at jb enoit@energiasaves.com to schedule an appointment for each school. No further surveys will be scheduled beyond Friday, June 7, 2024 so that all proposers have sufficient time to finalize and submit their proposals. SITE SURVEY SCHEDULE
